Why is Google compliance important?

Google’s algorithms decide how to rank a page based on a number of technological (e.g., page speed, structure) and content (e.g., internal and external links, keywords) features – which then determine how high a page will rank in the results when searched for a given keyword.

Ranking can be crucial in reaching new users, as it is very rare for someone to go further than the first one or two pages of the search results list. It’s no coincidence that SEO, which improves Google’s rankings, has become one of the most common buzzwords in online marketing today.

Here you can see the average Google rankings for the terms (i.e., keywords) in our Start Up Guide Galaxy page, which was created to test Pressonline CMS:

Following public publication at the end of January 2021, the ranking of terms in the glossary has steadily improved, thanks to the high Google compliance (currently 90 percent for speed and 97 percent for display structure and technology) of the Pressonline CMS system.
